Week 2 and 3 in Photos

Dear Parents,

I am sorry a double bill of photos for you. Unfortunately I was out of the classroom for a couple of days and the rest of the week flew by. So here are a few of the highlights from our learning during Week 2 and 3.

On Friday it was my turn to lead the EY assembly. I read the story of the 3 Little Pigs and had some awesome volunteers who agreed to be the 3 Little Pigs and help be the big bad wolf. It was great fun and everyone enjoyed listening to the story with the helpers bring the story to life!

We have also been learning about bar graphs. We made our own by asking What is your favourite flavour?  We also made a bar graph with our favourite transport. We all enjoyed learning about this and have revisited it lots.

We are about the history of transport. Part of our learning is how to be safe. This week we looked at walking and how to be safe when walking around school and with our parents to the car. Always remember to stop at the gate.

We have been practicing our counting to 10 and identifying the numbers in order. To help us do this we did some dot to dot. I have to say the concentration and hard work lead to some great results.
