Friday 6th October
Dear Parents,
This week has been a great week filled with lots of fun
as we have enjoyed book week. We have completed lots of activities connected to
the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We have particularly enjoyed making
chocolate cake and jelly sweets, practicing wrapping sweets and having some of
the children from Year 2 and 5 read to us. This afternoon we will have our
class party. All the photos from this week I will upload on our class blog

Next week we will be looking at the letter Pp and
its sound, shapes such as triangle, circle, square and rectangle and members of
our family. Could you please all email me a picture of your family this will be
just used in class and I will print it off.
This morning we did not do swimming as only a
handful of children with their swimming kit, thank you to those who did. As
school will be closed on Friday 13th October for a national holiday
in remembrance of H.M. the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s passing. We will
hopefully resume swimming on the 20th October.
Advance notice that on Tuesday 17th and
Wednesday 18th October after school we will have Parent/Teacher
Consultations. More details will be
announced next week.
I am looking forward to seeing those of you, who can
make our class party later this afternoon.
