End of Week 7

Thursday 12^th October

Dear Parents,

This week we have been looking at the letter Pp and its sound. We made penguins and did some painting. We also looked at shapes such as triangle, circle, square and rectangle and sorted and made pictures using shapes. We also started looking at members of our family.

Next week we will be looking at the letter Nn and its sound. We will continue to look at shapes but using them to make repeating patterns. We will continue to look at our family and the life cycle: baby, child, adult, old age.

Book day was lots of fun. Thank you, parents for coming to join us. A big thank you to Ava, Aya and Ana’s Mum who read Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to us. I have uploaded on our class blog lots of photos from book day and our activities during the week.  This is our blog address:

School will be closed tomorrow Friday 13^th October for a national holiday in remembrance of H.M. the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s passing.  

Next Tuesday 17^th and Wednesday 18^th October after school we will have Parent/Teacher Consultations. The signup sheet is outside the doors to Early Years. Please do sign up if you haven’t done so already
