Parents
I
can’t believe how quickly the term is passing by and next week will be our last
week before the holidays. This week we have been learning about the letter Dd
and its sound. We have also been practicing our counting to 10. Next week will
be a review week of all that we have learnt. Along with our final dress
rehearsal and practices for the show and a few Christmassy activities should be
a busy week.
A
few reminders and notices about next week.
School
will be open on Monday and we will have a normal school day.
Thursday
14th December at 9am we invite you to join us and watch our Christmas
show in the Secondary Gym. If all the children could be here no later than
8.30am so we can ensure that they are ready and get them to the gym so we start
on time.
After
the show we will return to the classroom to receive and open our book from
Santa. You are invited to join us for this in the classroom. Thank you to those
that have sent in a book for their child. We however are waiting for a few
still.
We
will be issuing school report here and asking for you to sign for them.
You
are then welcome to take your child home after this or they are welcome to stay
with us for the remainder of the day.
On
Friday 15th December we will not be swimming. We will continue this
after the holidays.
2pm
we will be having our Christmas class party. You are all welcome to join us if
you are free.
Please
can you send in a small snack that can be shared with their friends.
