Weekly Review and Preview Week 10

Dear Parents 

Our school trip is tomorrow so I am sending this weeks email out a little early. Just a reminder if we could please all be in school for 8.50am tomorrow. I sent an email yesterday - Wednesday with all the final details. 

Next week is our last week of term and the last of the academic year. I can't believe where the year has gone. It has been a privilege to see all the children grow and blossom this year. 

Next week there are a couple of events happening. 
Tuesday 26th June 2-4pm we will be holding our annual Early Years Charity Auction.  I know a number of you have signed up for this so thank you. It should be an enjoyable afternoon with some yummy snacks and an opportunity for us to raise some money for the Mercy Centre. If you would like to attend please do let us know so that we can organise catering.

Thursday 28th June is our last day of the academic year. We will be having a Scientist Theme class party. Please feel free to dress up on the day. The party will begin at 2pm and you are all most welcome to join us. If you could please provide a small snack that can be shared with friends that would be most welcome.

Ascot International School Trip		KS Weekly Update: Week 10 2018 Summer Term
	This week		Next week
English	We looked at the sound the letters oa makes when put together and made a boat picture. We looked at words that contain the oa sound such as boat, coat, soap, goat.		We will be reviewing all the sounds we have learnt this year.
Maths	We have been looking at patterns, Particularly patterns that involve colours e.g. red, yellow, red, yellow etc		We will continue looking at and making our own patterns.
Inquiry	This week we have our school trip to Ekkami Science Museum.		We will be reviewing our learning on materials and how their properties help us decide how we use them
Notices and events WB: 25th June	Friday 22nd June School Trip to the Science Museum at Ekkami. Tuesday 26th June Art Auction 2-4pm Please let us know if you can attend. It should be a great afternoon. Thurday 28th June 2pm our end of term class party. You are all welcome. Invitation is in the contact book.
